My son was born with a full head of dark hair so the moment he started shedding it became pretty noticeable. He sleeps in the Snoo bassinet every night, and I imagine the wiggling motion just expedites the shedding. When I would get him up from a nap or night sleep, there was enough hair to pinch with your finger left on the sheet. Once I switched to the silky tot sheet, there was NO HAIR in the bassinet when I got him up! Truly none. It’s amazing what a difference it makes, even with the short 30-40min naps. I’m so grateful I found Silky tots!

Does it work to prevent hair loss? I’m not sure because I’ve not used it long enough to test it. The reason for 3 stars is the price of this item. It’s only a half moon of silk at the top part of the sheet, which I knew before buying but after comparing this product to a standard silk pillow case…. Might as well buy a stand silk pillowcase from Slip to use in the bassinet and then you can use it again when they are older as a pillowcase. That’s been my theory. The full crib sheet might be a better investment since it’s a whole sheet in silk but still very expensive however I could justify the crib sheet over the snoo/ bassinet sheet. Just my POV. I would have returned it had I not already washed it.
